Zompist Bulletin Board

The Zompist Bulletin Board (often abbreviated ZBB) was a phpBB-powered community of conlangers and conworlders. The community had originated in a message board on Mark Rosenfelder's web site and was a major meeting ground for conlangers and conworlders, second in importance only to the CONLANG mailing list. It had spawned several projects, such as KneeQuickie (a now defunct conlang wiki) and the Zebia shared world. Unlike other conlanging communities, it did not have a "No Cross, No Crown" rule, and politics, especially U.S. politics, were openly discussed there, which probably led to its demise.

As of January 23, 2026, it is no longer reachable, after having suffered from massive DoS attacks for months.
