Initial text

I don't think I'm very good at writing short texts like those needed for a relay. So if you want, you can write the initial text for me! Just reply to this thread — the first reply gets the job. Please note that the text will need to be ready by 2013-02-01, and you will not be able to participate in the relay. —Fenhl 02:32, 22 October 2012 (PDT)

Awesome, thanks for helping out. Ideally, you should write in a conlang that has a script, in case there will be another conscript ring. Or you could do what Chrys is doing for relay 20 and write it in multiple languages (assuming multiple rings). —Fenhl 11:31, 23 October 2012 (PDT)
I am willing to contribute in any way I can. Just let me know -- in January. Chrys "Ttien-Zhõn-Kyung" Jordan. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Greybuck (talkcontribs)

Amazing, to have three relays in such a short time. I'm in, of course. Chrys Jordan —Preceding unsigned comment added by Greybuck (talkcontribs)

Wrap-up

Now that the initial text is being provided by MilyAMD, what's supposed to happen at the end of the relay? Should Mil translate the texts back into her language(s), or should I translate the text into one of mine, or both, or…? —Fenhl 18:28, 1 November 2012 (PDT)

First of all, I am male. ;)
Second thing, if anybody is interested in translating directly from English (I don't promise a good English though :P), I can give up the starting position in some ring (will there be more than one?) to somebody, can I? MilyAMD 09:09, 6 November 2012 (PST)
Sorry, I always think of “Mil” as a girl's name. Blame L1 bias.
I don't know yet if there will be multiple rings. That depends on the number of participants and entries. —Fenhl 14:09, 6 November 2012 (PST)
Conceived the text (:3) and finished the English version. Now it waits until I come to myself and translate it to the conlang. MilyAMD 14:39, 9 November 2012 (PST)

Sign-ups

Who will participate? :P MilyAMD 06:53, 25 December 2012 (PST)

Oh right, I totally forgot to open the signups. Fixed that now. —Fenhl 07:00, 25 December 2012 (PST)
Oughtn’t we to wait for Relay 20 to finish first? -- Pne 12:00, 25 December 2012 (PST)
The question is: will the 20th relay be finished? MilyAMD 12:04, 25 December 2012 (PST)
By that logic, we'd also have to wait for relays 17, 18, 19 and 19.5 to finish. (hint: not going to happen.) By the way, the start of signups was originally chosen to be a few days after relay 20 was supposed to finish. —Fenhl 12:27, 25 December 2012 (PST)
I won't be available in some certain dates in 2013, but it's too early to know which ones now. I hope it's okay to specify them later, when I get to know them. Ajn do juſjo 06:58, 31 December 2012 (PST)

Participants

The initial text for all rings will be written by MilyAMD.

Formula

So, an inverse relay or just a plain vanilla one? MilyAMD 13:16, 5 March 2013 (PST)

I'd personally prefer vanilla. But anything's fine as long as we get started sometime in the foreseeable future :) Metaknowledge 15:52, 5 March 2013 (PST)
No one has signed up for inverse so far. —Fenhl 22:14, 10 March 2013 (PDT)
