2024 YouTube Conlang Relay

The 2024 YouTube Conlang Relay was an invite-only conlang relay run by George Corley, the host of Conlangery, featuring several prominent conlanging YouTubers. It was presented as the first installment of an annual YouTube relay event. The results of the relay were published on the Conlangery YouTube channel.

Although the relay finished successfully, it did not go as smoothly as hoped. Among other issues, Kate the Pan Plate was the only person in the relay with the programming skills necessary to handle the "cursed conlang" Goptjaam, making it impossible for her to be skipped or rescheduled. This ended up stalling the relay and ultimately forced Jessie Peterson to drop out. To remedy this, future relays will feature a rule that conlangs cannot require any specialized knowledge outside of linguistics to decipher.
