The Second Caucasus Project was a collaborative conlang family building project of the League of Lost Languages. The basic idea was that with the Alps being a mountain range in some ways similar to the Caucasus, they could be a similar hotbed of linguistic diversity. Thus, the Second Caucasus Project was aimed at the construction of Palaeo-Alpine lostlangs.
The Second Caucasus Project involved two families of Palaeo-Alpine languages, Eteonoric and Alpianic. With the demise of the League of Lost Languages, the Second Caucasus became defunct, though its initiator, Jörg Rhiemeier, considers reviving it as a personal project.
