Template talk:Work in progress

This template is (in its original Wikipedia incarnation) supposed to indicate an article being edited right now (i.e. to warn about edit conflicts), not being generally a work in progress. How urgently is this needed for this purpose at a wiki of our size? Not very, I suspect. Judging by the current use around here, it could probably be reworded to be just a "this is a WIP, just FYI" boilerplate.

How many non-abandoned conlangs aren't works in progress, though…? :)
