I first had the idea to make a conlang when I was 13, and began with an orthographical English cipher, attributing sounds to Q, X, and the like that are ordinarily represented by digraphs in English. Soon after I looked up the 'Language Construction kit', and that kicked off the past 16 years of linguistics study and conlanging history! I sought to create the perfect language - for my ear of course - and have largely succeeded with my PIE descendent language called 'Varyan' (Varyelar).
