Pronouns are words used in place of nouns. They are usually divided into the following categories:
| Personal pronouns | I, you, he, she etc |
| Reflexive pronouns | himself, themselves etc |
| Demonstrative pronouns | that, those, this etc |
| Relative pronouns | that, which, who etc |
| Interrogative pronouns | who?, when?, what?, etc |
| Indefinite pronouns | some, few, a little etc |
