Masculine nouns usually end in a consonant or in a voiced vowel:
- l'argen the money
- l'òmin the man
- l'ingleis The Englishman
- il doitò The doctor
Of course, there are some irregularities:
- il fìli the son
- il poete the poet
Feminine Nouns
Feminine nouns usually end in a -e:
- la signòe the woman
