	The Pyrans live in small villages called <font color=blue>dabôes</font>. The individual family units may be related or not. Each <font color=blue>dâbos</font> is independent of others. A village council consisting of the heads of the households in the <font color=blue>dâbos</font>, male or female determines policy for the <font color=blue>dâbos</font>.
