Foħθīrix is one of the languages belonging to Alri language family. It stems directly from Proto-Alri, the family proto-language. It is spoken in the classic period and gives rise to a separate branch, named Foħθīri languages. Two daughter languages belong to this group and stem from Foħθīrix. It has an alphabetical script.
Typological structure
Foħθīrix is a morphologically agglutinative language, with an exclusive tendency to morpheme prefixation.
The basic word order is essentially SOV (Subject-Object-Verb).
