Taraiph: The Sarikan language.

Sarikan (/sɑɹɪkən/) or Sarijáanta /saɹɪd͡ʒaː˥˧nta/ is a language spoken by the Sarikan people on the continent of Aster'rahl, ranging from the westernmost coast of Avit'rath (neé Nàkot'ààson) and the Mwundok (Artóúskai) peninsula to the majority of the California-sized island of Tarja.

In the classification of the Sarikan language, Sarikan is unique as the sole surviving member of the Saric branch of the Astero-Americ language family, which includes such languages as Ghel-am and Arumfi, both of which are in the Americ branch.

Naming the Sarikan language as a complete language is (somewhat) controversial, as several experts claim that the language is actually a dialect continuum of around 30-40 different dialects, despite the 98% intelligibility between its most remote and deviant dialects. Sheryl Clemons claims that there is no single Sarikan language, but instead around 10-15 different languages with varying degrees of intelligibilty. This has been completely disregarded in the study of Sarikan.
